The Duchess of Cambridge is ready for a night at the museum.
Kate is set to announce the winner of this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition with the award's first virtual ceremony. The duchess announced the upcoming ceremony while on location at London's Natural History Museum, of which she is a patron, in a preview clip shared to the Kensington Palace social media accounts.
In the clip, the duchess wears an all-black ensemble, including a square-neck, long-sleeved top and black trousers. She wears a matching black blazer too, as seen in behind-the-scenes images of her taping. Kate pairs her evening look with minimalist pearl teardrop earrings and has her hair blown out in her signature waves.
"It is so wonderful to be back at the reopened Natural History Museum, where we can all enjoy its treasures once again," Kate says in the teaser. "I'm here because tomorrow night I'm announcing the 56th Wildlife Photographer of the Year."
The duchess continues, "I've been lucky enough to have a quick preview and I can say it's truly spectacular. I can't wait for you all to see it."
The Natural History Museum's Wildlife Photographer of the Year ceremony is the world's longest-running and most prestigious wildlife photography competition. The ceremony works in partnership with the photography community to inspire millions of people around the world to rethink their relationship with nature and, hopefully, become advocates for the planet.
