Gilford police are asking for the public’s help finding whoever dumped the dead goats, Gilford police said in a statement. The animals were discovered around 3:06 p.m., said Gilford Police Deputy Chief Kris Kelley.

Police said whoever dumped the goats was familiar with the area.
“It’s a fairly remote area, so to go up to that particular place, you have to be from around here,” Kelley said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the goats to call 603-527-4737.
