BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Village Hall announced today that this year, as every year, there will be no trash or recycling pick-up on Thanksgiving Thursday. If your normal trash collection day is Thursday, your items will be collected on Friday. All trash and recycling service for the remainder of the week will also be delayed by one day. Normal service will resume Monday, Dec. 2.
The villages of Romeoville, Oswego and Plainfield will likewise have no trash pick-up on Thanksgiving. In Plainfield, only addresses with Thusday pick-up will be delayed. In Oswego and Romeoville, all collection will be delayed by one day until normal service resumes on Dec. 2. Plainfield and Romeoville both rely on waste disposal company Waste Management for their garbage and recycling services. Bolingrook and Oswego make use of another waste disposal company, Groot.
